Mark Sheldon has been a Software Developer since 1987 and a Developer of
Internet Applications since 1996. He began working with the Microsoft
.NET Framework in mid-2001 and adopted it as his primary development
platform with the RTM release of version 1.0.
He has served as the sole or lead developer on projects for clients ranging from government and corporate clients to small businesses. His most recent projects are cloud-based systems built for organizations serving users internationally, such as the Commission on Accreditation of Prehospital Continuing Education (CAPCE). He also built and continues to manage systems that serve governmental agencies, such as the California Department of Social Services. Previously, he was the Chief Programmer for National Ed Online, whose clients have included Applied Weather Technology, Common Sense Media, CPS HR Consulting, SIBA, The Texas Education Agency, The Virginia Department of Education, and WestEd, and was also the Chief Technology Officer for CE3000.com.
His areas of expertise include the Microsoft .NET platform using C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web Forms, SQL Server Database Programming (versions 7-version 2022), Web Services, IIS, technical specifications development, research and development, policy planning/implementation, contingency planning, and project leadership.
